june already?

how is it summer already? time is flying. the past month was filled with plenty of pre-memorial day white jean wearing. what a rebel. now that it is ok to wear white jeans, i'm almost over it.

on mother's day, we had dinner down at herrington, as usual and took the requisite beach pictures.

 

BFF b and i went out and decided that we were young enough for candy colored shots. we discovered that we are in fact, too old for that kind of foolishness.the boy did notice that our shots matched b's eyes exactly, so that shot is now named after her.

i've also become a bonannos convert. my first two pairs are so much more comfortable that the jack rogers. now i'm plotting the next color to order...

don't you think i am missing some pink In my collection? the gold pair is also on its very last leg. they'll surely need to be replaced.

we've been entertaining in the backyard this month, which has been a ton of fun.

and i've been driving the boy crazy with putting flowers everywhere in the house. even in the bathroom. he thinks i am kooky but i love seeing fresh flowers in every room. how would that not brighten your day?

let's hope june brings on as much fun as may did!
