this weekend, i found some fun things in the dollar aisle at target.
dollar items are my favorites!
we did a wedding at the conservatory at the maryland zoo. it was such a pretty venue with lovey views and plants everywhere.
the horticulturalist there had just given a terrarium workshop the morning of the wedding, and was kind enough to leave her work for us to use as decoration at the reception.
how cool are these?
i'm obsessed and will be going back for one of her workshops.
the wedding was a success, save for a few funny mishaps that i was able to fix. the groomsmen were supposed to decorate the going away car, but they got so drunk that they forgot supplies. thank goodness my wedding survival kit comes packed with a giant spool of white ribbon and lots of tissue paper. i made some quickie tissue poms, tons of bows and streamers and the bride was none the wiser about the forgetful groomsmen!

You really saved the day! I am glad the wedding went well. I love the Target dollar bin. I was barely able to resist last weekend; I'm sure I'll indulge soon!
